We are now taking bookings for 2013 mock 11+ exams.
These were very successful in 2012 and played an important part in children's
preparations.
These tests are not national publications or past papers from grammar schools
in other parts of the country. The local English and Maths tests are written by
the schools themselves and are therefore unique to Torbay. We have worked hard
to make our tests as close to the real Torbay 11+ tests as we can.
We hold mock exams between March and September and these are open to all
children who intend to take the 11+.

11+ Tuition in Newton Abbot

I'm delighted to say that I have been able to book a teaching room at the Passmore Edwards Centre (Newton Abbot library).
The Passmore Edwards Centre is a Grade II Listed building in the centre of Newton Abbot, built in 1904. The Centre opened in June 2012 following extensive renovation and extension that blended the old with the new. The interior is light and bright and offers excellent teaching facilities.
As you can see we will be working in a clean. modern teaching room. I know the children will respond well to this high quality environment and I'm definitely going to enjoy teaching there.
I will be running groups here next term on Wednesdays. Year 4s from 4.00 -5.30pm and Year 5s from 5.30 to 7.00pm. I have already had several booking and I'm looking forward to meeting the children.

11+ Mock 21 July 2012
Today I'll be letting everyone know how they got on in last Saturday's mocks.
Some of the children must of enjoyed it as they have since booked onto more mocks!

11+ Mock Exams
This year's 11+ mock exams are all ready to go which is just as well as they start on Saturday!
The first two mock exams are now full. At the time of writing there are a few places left on the other days.
